چکیده
Abstract Due to the fact that one of important ways describing performance basins is use hydrological signatures, present study investigates effects climate change using signatures in Azarshahr Chay basin, Iran. To this end, Canadian Earth system model (CanESM2) first used predict future (2030–2059) under two Representative Concentration Pathways (RCP2.6 and RCP8.5). Six signature indices were extracted from flow duration curve (FDC) as follows: runoff ratio (RR), high-segment volume (FHV), low-segment (FLV), mid-segment slope (FMS), mid-range (FMM), maximum peak discharge (DiffMaxPeak). These act sorts fingerprints representing differences behavior basin. The results indicate most significant changes response are related FHV FLV FMS indices. BiasFHV index indicates an increase high rates RCP8.5 scenario, compared baseline period, also RCP2.6 scenario. mean annual rate, however, lower than rate Generally, for both discharges low significant.

Hydrological Response to Human Activities and Climate Change in the Ghaleh-Shahrokh Watershed
Determining the relative contributions of human activities and climate change to variations of runoff in basin is very important for sustainable management of water resources. In this study, seven methods were used to determine these relative contributions in the Ghaleh-Shahrokh watershed as the main upper catchment of Zayandeh-Roud River. These seven methods can be divided into two main catego...
متن کاملEvaluation of Climate Change Impacts on Hydrological Characteristics of Watershed (Case study: Aji- Chai Watershed)
Studying climate change impact on hydrological variables such as runoff has attracted more attention over recent years mainly due to the imposed imbalance in climate system by greenhouse gas emission. Hence, initially in this research, the trend and abrupt changes of hydro – climatic variables were studied using data mining approaches in 18 stations over 40 years (1972-2011) in Aji-Chai waters...
متن کاملThe effect of climate change on flow regime using two meteorological and hydrological indices
An important and fundamental issue in Iran is to utilize water and to avoid wasting it. Therefore, climate change can be considered as an effective factor on water resources. The most tangible climate change phenomenon is drought which is much important to be identified. In this study, the effect of climate changes on flow rate in Bashar River, Shahmokhtar station of Yasouj city was evaluated u...
متن کاملAssessing Hydrological Impacts of Climate Change: Modeling Techniques and Challenges
Climate Change refers to any systematic change in the long-term statistics of climate elements (such as temperature, pressure, or winds) sustained over several decades or longer time periods. General Circulation Models (GCMs) are tools designed to simulate time series of climate variables globally, accounting for effects of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and resulting global climate change....
متن کاملstudy of climate change on hydrological drought
daily discharge data of 12 hydrometric recording stations in atrak river basin were manipulated to calculate low flows for 7-day duration for studying hydrological drought using regional analysis method. using regression models, the low flows for 7-days duration of 10-year return period were calculated and regional low flows were estimated for 20 stations. daily data in each station used to sim...
